New Duggar Investigation: 911 Called In May As Duggar Family Wouldn’t Cooperate With DHS Investigation

A new Duggar investigation conducted by the Arkansas Department Of Human Services has been revealed. Evidently DHS has been checking out the family at their home, making sure that all of their kids are well-cared for and safe. According to the Huffington Post, the information was made public after InTouch Weekly got a hold of a 911 call that was placed by a DHS worker from inside the Duggar’s home.

The incident occurred when the family refused to cooperate with the worker, who asked to enter a room to check on one of the kids, but was denied entry.

“We have an investigation, and I guess they’re not being cooperative. We have to see the child to make sure the child is all right. So we just need police assistance,” the worker told the 911 dispatcher.

This new Duggar investigation comes on the heels of leaked information involving Josh Duggar and a sexual molestation scandal that he was involved in when he was a teenager. It sounds like things are getting even more complicated for the Duggar family, who previously didn’t have a spot on their reputations as a wholesome Christian family (albeit a large one).

According to Fox News, this 2015 investigation by DHS isn’t the first time that the Duggar family has been checked out. While one might think that living in a home with 19 children is pretty much asking for a visit from DHS (you know, just to make sure everything is okay, and no children are being neglected in any way), it seems like there may be something else going on here.

“Back in 2006, the Duggars were questioned by police and later investigated by the DHS when someone called a hotline to report the rumored abuse the family has since admitted occurred.”

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, there are many people who feel as though the fall of this family is well on its way. Thousands have really enjoyed watching them grow on TLC’s 19 Kids And Counting, but now it feels like there have been too many secrets for this family to just pick up the pieces and carry on the same way that they were. Journalist Rick Egusquiza — who is responsible for bringing the Josh Duggar molestation case to light — feels that this may just be the tip of the iceberg.

Do you think that the Duggar family will be able to move on from this, and have success on reality television? Or is their time in the spotlight over?
