New Duggar Investigation: Arkansas Department Of Human Services Conducting Duggar Investigation

A new Duggar investigation has reportedly been launched by the Arkansas Department of Human Services. According to the Huffington Post, it’s unclear what may have caused this investigation, but many feel that this could be connected to the recent news about Josh Duggar, and the sexual molestation scandal that has embroiled the whole family.

“[In Touch Weekly] reports that on May 27, the Washington County Department of Human Services was called to investigate at the family’s home. When the Duggars refused to cooperate, the DHS representative called 911 to request police assistance, explaining they were prevented from seeing the child they were concerned about.”

The new Duggar investigation isn’t going so well; Evidently the family isn’t cooperating with authorities. According to the New York Daily News, a Department of Human Services worker was at the Duggar’s home when the family refused to let him check on one of their 19 children. The worker called 911 to request police assistance.

“We have an investigation, and I guess they’re not being cooperative. We have to see the child to make sure the child is all right. So we just need police assistance,” the worker said to the 911 dispatcher.

Details are quite sparse at this point, given the fact that cases of this nature are kept completely private, and details of DHS cases are not made public.

This news comes after the world learned a very dark Duggar secret. Josh Duggar previously molested girls when he was a teenager, a couple of whom were his own sisters. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Jill and Jessa (who are both married) spoke out about the incidents, and both seem to believe that their brother was just a curious boy going through puberty. Jill recalled times when her parents actually put a lock on her bedroom door to protect her and her sisters from Josh.

“My parents said, ‘Okay, we’re not going to do this hide-and-seek thing where two people go off and hide together. You know, everybody’s in bed. Girls in the girls’ room. Boys in the boys’ room … as a mother now I look back, and I think, you know, my parents did such an amazing job for me. Even when we went through the DHS investigation they complimented my parents on what an amazing job they did through that process.”

The new Duggar investigation could mean more bad news for the family, who are still waiting to hear whether or not TLC is going to cancel 19 Kids And Counting. Do you think the Duggars are in bigger trouble than they let on?
