Amy Schumer Likes To Watch Jennifer Lawrence Eat Cereal

There is no doubt that Amy Schumer is among the most outspoken ladies in Hollywood. As a comedian, Amy Schumer sort of has a license to do and talk about some of the most outrageous things that most who love to keep out of controversies would avoid.

That said, Amy had earlier this week made headlines after photo-bombing a couple’s engagement photo while jogging in Central Park, New York.

According to People, Siegel, who was taking the photos, was in the process of snapping more pictures of the newly engaged couple when she heard someone shout, “Oh my god! Are you taking engagement photos? Let me get in one!”

Siegel, who spoke to People, said she at first thought it to be a little weird but said yes anyway.

She took off her sunglasses, we snapped a quick pic, and right after, she says, “You guys know I’m like reeeeeeal famous.” I take another look it hit me that it was Amy Schumer!… My face went totally blank and I said, ‘Oh my god! Amy! I love you!’ Needless to say I was pretty excited. I think we were all in shock that it had actually happened. We were just doing our thing and taking pictures. Never in a million years would we think Amy Schumer would want to jump in a photo.

That aside, Amy Schumer had earlier on complained about beautiful female actresses taking all the great spots in comedy but not actually having a wow effect on the audience. Speaking to Judd Apatow, who is currently a guest editor for Vanity Fair’s comedy issue, Amy Schumer said this about the phenomenon.

“In my experience, there will be a script and you’ll be like, This is funny—I think I’ll audition. And you’ll know other women, who are hilarious, are auditioning, too…And then they give it to, like, some beautiful movie star. They’re great actresses and they’re really pretty, but they’re not funny.”

This is according to the transcript on USA Today of Amy’s conversation with Vanity Fair’s Judd Apatow in the magazine’s July issue. The two questioned if “eye candy” is a necessity in the genre, and when Apatow suggested, “What if people do want it?”, Amy had her answer to this.

“I’m not above that. I want to look at Jennifer Lawrence eating cereal.”

The interview was in relation to the actress’ upcoming comedy called Trainwreck starring Bill Hader and Amy Schumer, and directed by Judd Apatow.
