Bethenny Frankel: Heather Thomson ‘Is Not My Frenemy. Life Is Too Short’

Bethenny Frankel is back on The Real Housewives of New York and she isn’t letting the older cast members steamroll her. It is no secret that Frankel and Heather Thomson have not been getting along lately, and after a trip to the Berkshires, Bethenny is tired of the drama. These days, she just wants to settle it all and move forward.

Even though Bethenny Frankel cried during the dinner at Dorinda Medley’s house and left Thomson completely frustrated, it sounds like Frankel doesn’t want a repeat of her friendship with Jill Zarin, where they became frenemies – friends who are enemies. Instead, she wants to focus on the good things with her co-star, even if it means they are not friends.

According to a new Bravo report, Bethenny Frankel is now revealing that she wants the tension with Heather to end. And it sounds like she wants Heather to stop being up in her face about random things.

“I just wanted to end the dynamic with Heather,” Bethenny Frankel explains, adding, “Although I am a reality star, I don’t always want the spotlight on me. I love doing reality TV, because I love the connection with the audience, the running commentary, the interaction with the women, and ultimately, the humor of it all. This doesn’t mean that when I’m going through some personal s–t that I want people up in my grill. It takes me a minute to get warm.”

These two could not be any different. And according to the Inquisitr, Bethenny Frankel couldn’t care less about being friends with Thomson. These two just have different personalities, and they may never be good friends. Regardless, Frankel knows that she can be rude and abrasive, so she decided to confront Heather during a night out after the drama in the Berkshires.

“I approached Heather, because I really didn’t want this to become some insane Housewife rivalry that it isn’t. She came on strong. I backed up. That is it. Different strokes for different folks. She is not my frenemy. Life is too short,” Bethenny Frankel reveals in her blog.

It sounds like these two will just have to co-exist, even though they are on the same show together. And oddly enough, they both adore Carole Radziwill. But Bethenny did reveal in a therapy session that she has a hard time letting people in and she doesn’t want new friends. Maybe this is a perfect example of that.
