Charlie Sheen’s Food Poisoning: Actor Suffered ‘Extreme’ Case

Actor Charlie Sheen reportedly suffered from an extreme case of food poisoning Monday.

TMZ reports that paramedics were dispatched to the home of the 49-year-old Anger Management actor late Monday night.

According to the report, Charlie Sheen (or one of his associates) did not call 911 directly in order to get emergency assistance. On the contrary, a call was made to the fire department at 11:00 p.m.

Inside sources told TMZ that it was nothing more than just a bad case of food poisoning. Charlie Sheen apparently did not need to go to the hospital after the paramedics were called to his home. The former Two and a Half Men star received treatment for his condition inside of his home.

In recent years, numerous headlines have been made in reference to Charlie Sheen’s overall health — especially in regards to his longtime struggle with substance abuse.

Back in November, 2012, multiple reports claimed that the Major League actor spent thousands of dollars a day on drugs.

“For at least the last eight months or so Charlie has been having a quarter to half an ounce of cocaine delivered to him every single day and was spending nearly $2,000 a day on drugs… Sometimes he’d even get two to three quarters of cocaine in one day.”

In addition to his personal health and issues with drug use, Sheen has also made headlines for his fluctuating relationship status. Along with his three failed marriages, Sheen has had quite a few failed engagements over the years, as well.

Charlie Sheen made headlines last weekend with a now-deleted cryptic tweet which referenced one of his ex-wives.

According to Radar Online, the cryptic message (which featured a toilet emoji) directly referenced 44-year-old actress Denise Richards.

“This rules, the name Denise Richards as an anagram or jumbled means; ‘Charred Insides,’ purr-fect.”

An inside source reportedly told Radar that Charlie Sheen was likely reacting to the news of Denise deciding to move away from her current residence.

According to the report, Denise Richards has made the decision to leave Mulholland Estates — which is also Charlie’s neighborhood. A real estate insider claimed that Denise was considering Malibu, Santa Monica, or the Pacific Palisades as the new home for herself and the former spouses’ two daughters.

Charlie Sheen has not posted any messages via social media in reference to his reportedly extreme case of food poisoning as of yet.
