Tom Hanks’ Son Sounds Off About Trashed Hotel Room In Instagram Video [Video]
Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson’s son is accused of causing over $1,800 in damage to a hotel room in London, leaving it completely trashed. He’s currently wanted by British authorities, but he recently sounded off in an Instagram video about the trashed room and his use of the “N” word.

“Police were called at 3:15 p.m. on Friday, May 29, by a member of staff at the Arora International Hotel in Crawley to a report that a guest had caused an estimated £1,200 of damage to a… room,” Sussex police confirmed to People magazine about the incident.
According to an eyewitness, Hanks invited girls up to his room, and “asked the girls if they would join him in the bed, but they are not like that. So he started screaming and making a noise. Then all you could hear was this smashing and crashing. Next morning he was gone but the room was trashed. Everything was smashed and there was glass all over the floor.”
As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Tom Hanks’s son has struggled with substance addiction in the past, and leaving the room trashed might mean he’s relapsed. He wrote as follows on Instagram.
“I’ve been struggling with substance abuse since I was 16 years old. Finally at the age of 24 I decide to get some help. With 50 days of sobriety under my belt, I can honestly say I’m the happiest I’ve ever been. I’m thankful for my family and everybody that cares about me, including my fans. I’ve been blessed with the programs of AA and NA which allow me to rise above this disease. I’m learning to accept my faults and be OK with being human. If anybody that sees this struggles with addiction, feel free to reach out.”

Substance abuse and trashing hotel rooms aren’t the only trouble Hanks has been in. Tom Hanks’s son recently had to apologize for using the “N” word in his songs, according to Entertainment.ie. The aspiring rapper claims it’s “an unspoken thing between people who are friends and understand each other,” but apparently his friends don’t like it either.
“It’s disrespectful. He thinks it’s a joke… He wakes up thinking he can be black today and know what we go through. He doesn’t. I wake up black every day, he does not”, rapper Scrilla King told TMZabout Hanks’s use of the N word.
Although they still want to interview him, there’s no information about whether British authorities have caught up with Tom Hanks’ son after he trashed the room.
