A rehab stint has reportedly been good for Kim Richards. As expected, the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star has allegedly improved since entering treatment earlier this month.
"Kim sounds great. Very coherent. Better than she's sounded in a long time," a source told E! News of the former reality star and mother of four.
Richards' latest rehab stint comes after an alleged bender in Mexico, where daughter Brooke Brinson's wedding took place. Although Richards had been in rehab prior to the wedding, she missed the deadline to complete her rehab stint and was forced to enter a different facility upon her return to Los Angeles.
"She's doing ok, a lot better than she had been," an insider told E! News at the time she entered her second rehab stint in recent weeks.
In addition to her rehab stint, the prior E! News source confirmed the Bravo star has moved out her rental home in the San Fernando Valley, where she had previously been staying with her ex-husband, Monty Brinson. However, that doesn't mean Brinson, who is dying of cancer, doesn't have a place to live. According to the source, he's moved into Kathy Hilton's guest house, where Richards is reportedly planning to move when she completes her rehab stint.
As for why Richards moved, E! News claimed the home needed to be sold.
"Kim was fine with it. The owner of the house wanted to sell it."
In recent months, there have been reports that claim Richards' four children aren't speaking to her after she reportedly went off the deep end at Brinson's wedding, but the source claimed they haven't shut her out completely.
"Obviously there is pain and anger there, but they're being supportive."
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Richards will allegedly move in with Hilton and her husband once her rehab stint is finished, although it is unclear when that will actually be. Below is what an insider told Radar Online.
"Kim doesn't have any place to live right now. Kim will probably move in with Kathy and Rick when she gets out of rehab. Kim's family has been worried about her. Things have gone from bad to worse for her. The show was supposed to be her saving grace but now she has almost nothing."
Amid her rehab stint, Richards will appear in court to address her April 16 arrest and charges of public intoxication, resisting an officer, and battery on an officer.
