Walmart Employee Abducted: Manhunt Underway For Suspect In Mukwonago, Wisconsin [Breaking]


A Walmart employee abducted in the parking lot of the Mukwonago, Wisconsin, store was lucky to have escaped her kidnapper later on, according to authorities.

The Eau Claire County Facebook page has a statement from the Sheriff’s office asking residents to avoid the area.

“Captain Bresina, with the Eau Claire County Sheriff’s Department, reports that the Sheriff’s Department is looking for an armed suspect;

male/white, black long sleeve shirt/blue jeans/green baseball cap/facial hair”, in the Olson Dr/Oak Knoll Dr. area, Town of Seymour.

Information has also been posted to the Sheriff’s Twitter account.

A manhunt is underway in Eau Claire County for the man responsible for the Walmart employee abduction on Monday. Officials say around 5 a.m. Monday, they received a call from a Walmart store about a missing female employee.

Surveillance video showed a gray car approach the Walmart employee. A man got out of the car holding a rifle or shotgun, and then forced the woman into the car, according to Fox 6 Now.

The reports on the fluid situation indicate that the woman was texting her boyfriend asking for help and authorities were able to locate the signal to the city of Eau Claire, located in Western Wisconsin. The woman managed to escape her captor and is now safe.

Fox reports the male suspect was able to elude police and is still on the loose. Police continue the manhunt for the man responsible for the Walmart employee abduction in Mukwonago, Wisconsin.
