The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kim Richards has reportedly lost her home. According to a June 8 report by TMZ, Richards recently returned to her home in the San Fernando Valley, but only to pack up her stuff and move.
TMZ‘s sources claimed the Real Housewives star, who has appeared on the Beverly Hills-based installment of the franchise since 2010, was forced to put her belongings in storage following a dramatic vacation in Mexico weeks prior. The site claimed Richards has fallen on hard times when it comes to her finances, and can no longer afford to keep paying for the home.
The Real Housewives star has since gone back to rehab in Los Angeles, and is expected to remain at the unnamed facility for the next 30-60 days. Upon her release, Richards is reportedly planning to rent a smaller home, possibly on the west side of L.A.
After entering rehab days ago, Richards was forced to miss the bachelorette party of her niece, Nicky Hilton. Although the Real Housewives star spent time with Hilton in Mexico prior to her alleged bender, Richards has missed both Hilton’s bridal shower, which was thrown by her older half-sister, Kathy Hilton, and her bachelorette celebration this past weekend, which Paris Hilton hosted.
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Richards has reportedly lost her job with Bravo on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, following a slew of unfortunate slip-ups in her sobriety, and her co-star, Lisa Vanderpump, recently discussed the issue. Speaking to Radar Online, Vanderpump claimed Richards shouldn’t think of the Real Housewives as a reason to drink.
“A reality show should document your reality. It shouldn’t be the reason you drink and the show should not be what keeps you sober.”
Although Vanderpump wishes her Real Housewives co-star well, she told the entertainment news site that she didn’t want to involve herself in Richards’ issues too much, as she’s done so in the past and gotten heat for it.
“I chose to stay out of the whole scenario this season because I was already in that whole situation two years ago when I questioned Kim’s sobriety. I didn’t want to go there again. Most importantly is that Kim gets the help she needs. I wish her well. That is all I want for her and all that the cast wants as well.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 6 has yet to be officially confirmed by Bravo.
