Parking Lot Killer: Husband Fires Shots Into His Wife’s Torso
In a San Diego business’ parking lot, a husband fires several shots into his wife’s torso after a heated argument. Jeremy Green, the suspect, then fled scene.
In the 9600 block of Business Park Avenue — in the parking lot of Scripps Ranch — a couple parted farewell in a most heinous of ways. After a heated argument, Jeremy Green killed his wife.
The verbal altercation ended in him firing multiple rounds into her upper torso. NBC 4 – Los Angeles reports as follows.
“When officers arrived, they found a 37-year-old woman lying in a parking lot suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The woman died from her injuries at the scene.”
“After the shooting, investigators said Green left the area in his silver 2007 Chevrolet Corvette with the California license plate 5YGE642.”
After the shooting, witnesses called emergency services — approximately around 2:10 p.m. However, by the time they made it to the crime scene, the husband’s wife had died.
As reports San Diego Union Tribune, it is as follows.
“Officers got there and found the woman, 37, mortally wounded in a parking lot used by several businesses. Homicide detectives were called in a short time later.”
San Diego Police reports that the killer husband is still not in custody. They describe him as a 40-year-old, brown-haired, brown-eyed, Caucasian male, approximately five feet eight inches tall and 185 pounds.
Given that the husband was last seen with a weapon, SDPD has deemed him armed and dangerous. Likewise, they advise that he should not be approached. And if anyone comes into contact with him, that person should call a specific number.
“Anyone with information on this shooting or Green’s whereabouts should call the SDPD Homicide Unit at (619) 531-2293 or Crime Stoppers at (888) 580-8477.”
The husband’s wife hasn’t been named as of yet. Accordingly, the department is honoring the family, notifying them first before releasing her name to the public.
However, as reports San Diego Union Tribune, a woman recently filed for divorce from Green.
“…An online Superior Court record shows that Tressa Green filed for divorce against Jeremy Green in April and was living on Turtleback Road in Rancho Bernardo.”
The same source states that the husband was ex-military and now working in sales. As it mentions on Tressa’s Facebook profile, she leaves behind three children — two daughters and a son. She was 37 years of age.
