Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe and her 14 remaining guys travel to New York on Week 4, and the arrival of Nick Viall is the highlight of the episode. Before host Chris Harrison introduces Nick to some very unhappy guys, Kaitlyn goes on two group dates and a one-on-one date in the Big Apple.
Producers have changed things up this season, moving the rose ceremonies to the beginning of the next episode. However Reality Steve‘s spoilers indicate that three guys will be eliminated this week — Corey Stansell, Ryan Beckett, and Jonathan Holloway — but the actual elimination won’t be shown until next week (June 15).
Who goes on dates this week, and how do the guys react to the arrival of Nick Viall? Here’s what to expect this week.
Group Date 1: Eight guys will go on a Rap Battle date with Kaitlyn and rapper Doug E. Fresh — Corey Stansell, Ryan Beckett, Justin Reich, JJ Lane, Tanner Tolber, Ben Zorn, and Jonathan Holloway. The guys will write raps and perform them on stage, battling against each other. Justin Reich got the group date rose, but it’s an interesting pick — Reality Steve states that Justin raps about Shawn Booth looking like “Ryan Gosling with Down’s Syndrome.”
Group Date 2: The second group date includes five guys — Ben Higgins, Chris Strandburg, Joshua Albers, Joe Bailey, and Ian Thomson. They will audition for a part in the Aladdin musical — Chris wins the part, gets the group date rose, and appears in the show with Kaitlyn that night.
While Chris spends time with Kaitlyn after the group date, the most anticipated moment of the season — Nick Viall’s arrival — happens. Host Chris Harrison brings Nick into the lobby of the hotel to introduce him to the guys as this season’s newest cast member.
Although Kaitlyn is shown in the preview (below) telling the guys that she only talked to Nick a “handful of times” before filming started, a previous report from the Inquisitr reveals that they were in constant contact and their relationship was “hot and heavy” prior to the show.
Reality Steve states that the guys are not pleased with Nick’s arrival, and reportedly take some of the clothes from his suitcase and wet them down. Apparently, that’s the best prank they could think to pull on Nick — a guy who will undoubtedly give JJ Lane a run for his money in the villain department.
“At some point this night is when some of the guys took clothes from his suitcase, wet them, then put them back in his suitcase to wrinkle. Nick told Kaitlyn about this at the cocktail party because he likes to complain.”
Tune in to see what will undoubtedly be a much-talked about episode of the Bachelorette on June 8 starting at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
