Edgar Dean Mitchell Sc.D. is an American pilot who became the sixth of twelve astronauts to walk on the moon. He is also the only one of this small elite who has gone on record and spoken out about the existence of UFOs and alien cover-ups.
Mitchell was the lunar module pilot of Apollo 14, and he spent nine hours on the lunar surface in the Fra Mauro Highlands region.
His past feats include active duty as a test pilot for the U.S. Navy, completing an M.S. in aeronautical engineering and a doctorate in aeronautics — and serving in combat during the Korean war as a fighter pilot. He was also awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom, and after his retirement from NASA, he founded the Institute of Noetic Sciences.
Mitchell later wrote The Way of the Explorer, which provided documentation of his experiences with space and mysticism.
The above video comes from the documentary film The Phoenix Lights, We Are Not Alone. And in roughly five minutes, the former astronaut explicates an alien cover-up that has allegedly been going on for decades.
