100 Years Of Women’s Fashion Displayed In Just Two Minutes [Video]

Fashion has changed drastically over the years, and Mode Glam decided to create a short video to honor each decade’s most memorable looks. The video is just two minutes long but showcases 100 years of fashion.

The video was uploaded to the Mode Glam YouTube channel and highlights some of the most popular trends of each decade. The video begins in 1915 and ends in 2015. The video description notes that the idea was to “revisit some of the biggest trends of all time.”

“100 years of fashion in two minutes—it’s possible! Tune in as we revisit some of the biggest trends of all time. From jazz age sass, to Coco Chanel-inspired chic, to the psychadelic 70s, this is one history lesson you don’t want to miss!”

Mode Glam isn’t the first to take on a century’s worth of style trends. In fact, numerous different sites have chronicled trends over the century including hair, makeup, and even other countries. An eye-opening video showcased fashion trends in Iran over the past 100 years in just one minute.

Not big on fashion? No problem. The channel recently chronicled 100 years of cocktails on the site featuring trendy drinks throughout the decades. From classic champagne-based drinks to the modern “Sex and the City,” the video covers the most popular cocktails throughout the ages.

What do you think of the Mode Glam rendition of the 100 years of beauty? What look was your favorite? Did they miss any big trends in the video that you would like to see highlighted?
