Gigi Hadid And Joe Jonas Dating: New Couple Piles On The PDA, Cody Simpson Gets Upset

Gigi Hadid definitely has a thing for teen idols who can belt out a tune. The 20-year-old model recently ended her relationship with 18-year-old Aussie singer Cody Simpson, and it looks like she’s seeking a little post-split comfort in the arms of a former boy band star. According to recent reports, 25-year-old Joe Jonas is helping Gigi mend her broken heart.

E! News shared a blurry photo of Gigi Hadid and Joe Jonas gazing into each other’s eyes while spending time together in NYC earlier this week. Joe has his arm around Gigi in the photo, and it looks like he’s about to kiss the beautiful blonde. In a second photo, Gigi can be seen kissing Joe’s hand.

A source told E! that “Gigi and Joe are hanging out again romantically,” but they’re taking things slow. The lovebirds tried to make one of their recent dates look more like an outing with friends by inviting two other girls and Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton to hang out with them. As the Inquisitr previously reported, Hamilton has been linked to Gigi Hadid’s good friend, fellow model Kendall Jenner. Some sources have also claimed that Hamilton and Hadid have been on a few dates together. If this is true, it was probably weird for the racer to watch Hadid get cozy with another man right in front of him.

According to Gossip Cop, the rumors about a romance between Joe Jonas and Gigi Hadid have been around since September 2014. At the time, Gigi told E! that she and Joe thought that the dating rumors were “hilarious.” A source confirmed that Joe and Gigi were “just friends” until very recently, and now they’re not laughing at the idea of being romantically involved with one another.

“They’ve known each other a long time… They’ve always been close,” the source revealed.

While Gigi Hadid is looking for love, Cody Simpson is allegedly having a hard time getting over his ex. He and Gigi called it quits just last month, and a source told Hollywood Life that Cody can’t believe that Gigi is finding it so easy to move on.

“Cody thinks that Gigi should have waited to move on because he thought they had something really special. He isn’t over it, and now that she’s moved on so fast, he is not taking it so well.”

It probably doesn’t help matters that his ex was being linked to Joe Jonas as long ago as last year — Cody might feel like Gigi has had the Jo Bro on her mind this entire time.
