Former ‘RHOC’ Star Gretchen Rossi Weighs In On Caitlyn Jenner’s Debut, Earnings Increase
Former RHOC star Gretchen Rossi isn’t surprised by the news of Caitlyn Jenner’s earnings increase.
Earlier this week, Caitlyn Jenner made her debut on the cover, and in the pages, of Vanity Fair. In the days since, several celebrities, including the Jenner/Kardashian family, have spoken out in support. And, in addition, several celebrities have made somewhat scandalous comments, not feeling that Jenner should be so applauded for becoming a woman. Snoop Dogg, Drake Bell, and Tom Cruise’s son, Connor, were all unimpressed, and Connor even claimed she didn’t deserve to receive the Arthur Ashe Courage Award.
Although there have been mixed emotions made public, Jenner appears to be cleaning up following her transformation, especially when it comes to her finances — and former RHOC star Rossi is quite impressed!
On June 4, TMZ estimated Jenner’s net worth would increase substantially now that she’s come out as a woman. In fact, the site claimed Jenner was worth “five times” more now that she’s legally female. While she used to demand $25,000 for speaking engagements, she is now able to capture six figures.
When the former RHOC star was asked her thoughts on the issue, she revealed the following to Rumorfix:
“I think it’s amazing! I think that means that women are much more powerful than men! The truth is that what she is going to go speak on is so amazing and such a strong message and its such a story of courage and I think that she should get paid more for that. She’s going to go save lives and it’s amazing that she has the courage to go out and do what she did. Guess what, she’s beautiful! She’s looks great!”
As the Inquisitr previously reported, the former RHOC star has been in the news quite a lot as of late after she and Smiley postponed their May 23 wedding. Although many believed the skipped date was the result of trouble in paradise, Rossi quickly shot down reports of an impending split from her longtime love.
On Instagram, Rossi shared a photo of herself and Smiley on a date in Los Angeles earlier this week. The caption of the cute photo was as follows,
“Despite your busy schedules always make time for date night to reconnect and laugh together. #maketimeforeachother #connect #laugh #blessed.”
Following her gig with Bravo, the former RHOC star went on to produce her own line of handbags.
