Sepp Blatter Dated Cristiano Ronaldo’s Ex-Girlfriend Irina Shayk? Spanish Media Makes Sensational Claim

Spanish media have alleged that disgraced FIFA president Sepp Blatter dated model Irina Shayk, who just so happens to be the ex-girlfriend of Real Madrid soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo.

El Mundo, via the Mirror, claimed that the soccer chief and Shayk were former lovers in their piece entitled, “All the women in Blatter’s life.” The renowned Spanish publication have sensationally reported that the 79-year-old Blatter “had a relationship” soon after he had dated tennis player Ilona Boguska, who is a friend of his daughter. After he’d had his reported fling with Shayk, Blatter then settled down with 50-year-old Linda Barras.

However, a New York-based spokesman for Shayk has since insisted that these rumors are completely false, telling the Mirror, “It is absolutely untrue.” According to the Daily Mail, Rosalia Sanchez, who is the Berlin based correspondent for El Mundo who wrote the piece, stated that a “Swiss source” had informed her of Blatter and Shayk’s dalliance.

Shayk is currently rumored to be dating Academy Award nominated actor Bradley Cooper, after the pair were spotted on a number of dates over the last few weeks.

Ronaldo and Shayk originally started dating in 2010. However their relationship came to an end in January 2015, with some press stating that it came to a close because she had refused to attend a birthday celebration for his mother.

Blatter is believed to have been dating Barras since the start of 2014. However her husband Christian has insisted that they are just “close friends.”

This isn’t the only lurid story to have emerged of Blatter over the last few days. Speaking to RTE Radio One, Football Association Of Ireland chief executive John Delaney revealed that Blatter had made some rather provocative comments regarding his partner, Emma English.

After eyeing up English at an event, Delaney explained that Blatter told him he “approved” of her, which provoked Delaney to tell him to “move on.”

“He met Emma, my partner, in Vienna recently,” Delaney remarked during the interview. “He stared at her for seven or eight seconds and he said, ‘I approve of your new girlfriend.’ I asked him to move on, move on please.”

Blatter announced his impending resignation as FIFA president on Tuesday, just a few days after he had won a fifth term as president. His resignation was the result of a building corruption case against Blatter and FIFA by US officials.
