Today is the day of amazing and unexpected covers. Ed Sheeran’s “Trap Queen” video on YouTube has gained more than 720,000 since it was published on June 4.

While Sheeran is most well known for his romantic ballads, the way Ed commanded the “Trap Queen” song with the Roots is blowing folks away online and in the real world on Friday.

Kelly Clarkson is receiving absolute raves and lots of YouTube views today because of the way the American Idol alum completely slay’s Rihanna’s “B**** Better Have My Money” song.

While Rihanna is known for completely slaying her own songs, like the well-received “American Oxygen,” as reported by the Inquisitr, Clarkson performed a jazzy sort of rendition of Rihanna’s “B**** Better Have My Money” and blew it out of the water, reports VH1.

With the video of Kelly’s performance published on June 4 to YouTube racking up so many views that it has received nearly 500,000 views in one day — it’s easy to see why people love the video performance. With Clarkson’s version, it’s easier to hear the actual words being sung and love Rihanna even more for her rendition and lyrics.
