Yolanda Foster Puts Parenting First As Her Lyme Disease Battle Continues

Yolanda Foster may be in the midst of a battle with Lyme disease, but her children, Gigi, Bella, and Anwar, remain as her main priority. On June 4, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star took to Instagram, where she revealed what’s most important to her.

“Motherhood is the choice you make everyday to put your childs happiness and well being before your own…….. #Unconditionally.”

Along with Yolanda Foster’s message, she shared a throwback photo of herself and daughter Gigi on the beach, which had been taken in 1995.

One day prior, Yolanda Foster shared a photo of a bouquet of roses, telling her followers, “Be with someone who is proud to have you.”

Although Foster didn’t reveal who the flowers were from in her post, it’s safe to say the reality star and mother of three was referring to her husband, David Foster, whom she married in November 2011.

Yolanda Foster was diagnosed with Lyme disease in 2012, around the time she signed on to appear on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Then, during filming on Season 5, which aired several months ago, she suffered a relapse, which left her unable to read, write and even watch television.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Yolanda Foster’s husband is reportedly encouraging her to walk away from her role on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. According to a Radar Online source, David feels her role on the show is a form of stress, which is completely unnecessary and may be damaging to her health.

“David has told Yolanda there is just no way she can return to the show because her condition is just getting worse. The Lyme disease is just ravaging her, and traveling for the international medical treatments is taking a toll. Yolanda is extremely weak, and her memory is suffering. David is just being protective because he doesn’t want any of the ladies to use her illness against her, as he knows those women are vicious.”

Yolanda Foster, on the other hand, is hoping to continue on with her role on the show as she believes it gives her a great platform to expose the dark side of Lyme disease.

“It will break Yolanda’s heart if she can’t be on RHOBH because she wants to use the platform to raise awareness about the illness.”

Yolanda Foster has yet to release a statement regarding her possible return to the show.
