Model Dong Lei Becomes Rising Supermodel Star On Internet For Four-Foot-Long Legs And Stunning Figure [Video]

Model Dong Lei has become a rising star in the competitive world of supermodels for her four-foot-long legs. Giving her parents credit for those pin-up pins, Lei is particularly popular in China, reported the Daily Mail.

At 20, Dong once was an aspiring teacher. But now, at five feet, 11 inches tall with 45-inch long legs, she’s set her eyes on supermodel fame and is already well-known on the internet. Her legs equal a typical 7-year-old girl’s height in China.

She wowed the judges on Supermodel, with some viewers suggesting that she insure her legs.

Dong grew up quickly, measuring five feet, nine inches tall at age 16. Concerned that her daughter was stooping over in an attempt to hide her leggy stature, her mother enrolled her in etiquette classes.

As for her parents’ height? Dong Lei’s mom is five feet, seven inches tall while her dad is six feet, one inch.

Initially, rather than model, Dong was a nursery school teacher, reported MSN.

Although she did enroll at the university, Lei followed up her studies with a modeling competition. And it was there in Beijing that she found fame. Dong won, then received a contract from an agency.

She now has a nickname “tui tui,” translated to “long legs.”

As for the new supermodel’s reaction to all of the excitement?

“I find it incredible that I have suddenly become an internet celebrity! I really enjoy my life and work at this moment, I fly around a lot and my work is also partly like a holiday. I will work hard to succeed going forward and hope for the best.”

However, even though she’s gotten the attention for her long legs, Dong Lei has not made history. The Guinness World Records lists former basketball player Svetlana Pankratova from Russia as taking the prize for legs that are 51.9 inches.

Although model Dong Lei is a rising star in China, Cindy Crawford’s daughter Kaia Gerber has become a rising star in the United States, as the Inquisitr reported.

As shown below, Crawford chose a combination of flower and soft textures to highlight her daughter’s exquisite features.

Delighted by her 13-year-old daughter’s beauty, Cindy posed Kaia in a way that she credited to supermodel Miranda Kerr. However, Crawford has emphasized that she wants to make sure that her daughter wears age-appropriate attire.
