Dunkin’ Donuts: New Artisan Bagels Have Arrived


Dunkin’ Donuts, America’s popular stop for donuts, bagels, and coffee, announced today that is is rolling out new Artisan Bagels, available all day long.

The shop, which is, to some, the number one retailed of bagels in the United States, stated in a press release that it has reinvented it’s bagel recipe, which will allow for the bagels to have a shoft and chewy texture, with bolder flavors.

The new bagels are offered in the same flavors as their current line, including Sesame, Poppy Seed, Cinnamon Raisin and more. Two seasonal varieties, Sun-Dried Tomato and Pumpernickel, are also available now, for a limited time.

To go along with the new Artisan Bagels, Dunkin’ Donuts also introduced a new reduced-fat Artichoke Spinach Cream Cheese.

James Beard Award nominee Executive Chef and Vice President of Product Innovation Stan Frankenthaler stated that:

“As the nation’s bagel leader and a brand with more than 60 years of baking history, we regularly explore new ways to innovate and enhance our bagel offerings. We’ve developed the new line of Artisan Bagels to provide an even more authentic bagel taste and texture with more intense and bolder flavors, sure to satisfy all bagel lovers and keep them running any time of day.”

Frankenthaler also introduced a new line of bagels in 2010 with the Bagel Twist, available at participating restaurants, and feature a unique shape designed for easier eating on-the-go. The Bagel Twists are available in flavors like Cheddar Cheese and Cinnamon Raisin. Dunkin’ Donuts also features a DDSMART menu, which includes “better-for-you” food and drinks, and also features a Multigrain Bagel.

Along with their new Artisan Bagels, Dunkin’ Donuts also announced recently that it will soon be offering Coca-Cola products in all U.S. locations.
