Selena Gomez Is Healthy And Justin Bieber-Free Despite What Reports Say
The media loves to ship Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber, otherwise known as “Jelena.” According to several reports, the couple has been secretly hooking up since March. The media has also claimed that Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber are back together after they were seen in a Snapchat video during a Bible study session at Hillsong Church.
Now it’s being reported that Gomez is headed to rehab after her recent heartbreak over the Biebs. Life & Style published a report that the singer and actress has relapsed “after drinking to cope with her pain.” The tabloid claims that Gomez “has learned to cope with some of her mounting problems by hitting the bottle.”
An alleged source spoke to Life & Style about Selena’s alleged drinking problem.
“She is a ticking time bomb. Selena doesn’t seem to be able to recover from all this on her own – and she’s being forced into rehab for her issues. Selena is showing up for work, fulfilling obligations. But at night she’s partying. And her alcohol consumption has been increasing. One or two drinks becomes six or seven. It’s sad.”
Gomez’s rep told Gossip Cop that the report is completely fabricated, as previously reported via the Inquisitr. The celebrity news site says that the singer is happy and healthy and that her team hasn’t “forced” her to go to rehab.
This comes after Justin Bieber took to Instagram to deny a report about his supposed relationship with Selena Gomez.
The “Boyfriend” singer posted a report created by Hollywood Life with the following caption.
“Hollywood Life is the most outrageous fake weird non factual garbage website I’ve ever seen. They literally makeup whatever they want and usually I don’t care, but this one is so ridiculous I had to say something. Don’t go to their website and give them any traffic.”
The now deleted report included the headline, “Justin Bieber & Selena Gomez: Why Their Church Believes They Should Be Together.”
The story claimed that Bieber and Gomez are getting back together and are working on a new song together. An alleged source even explained that the Hillsong Church believes that Bieber and Gomez should get marry at a young age.
“[Justin and Selena’s] pastors are pretty much all married and they married very young. They are very pro-marriage and pro-family and the feeling in that group is that Justin and Selena belong together.
“Justin has said many many times that he believes Selena is his soul mate, and that isn’t something his pastors take lightly.”
Maybe Bieber is talking about the rumor that their church wants them to marry. Gomez has previously stated on Twitter that Hollywood Life always makes up stories about her relationships. Bieber’s good friend Hailey Baldwin also slammed the celebrity gossip site for claiming that she, Bieber, and Kendall Jenner were involved in a ménage à trois.
At this time, Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber are single and enjoying life. That hasn’t stopped the media from shipping the couple though. It looks like the media is as bad as the “Jelena” fans.
