Shep Rose Denies Being Jealous Of Craig On ‘Southern Charm’
Shep Rose showed a different side of himself on this season of Southern Charm. This year, Shep seems more responsible and mature — and this was apparent when his co-star, Craig Conover, showed his party side. He took nothing seriously, and was even booted from his job as a lawyer with a local law firm. Rose was concerned about his friend, which definitely left the cast members at odds.
These days, Shep Rose and Conover are still friends, but many viewers feel that the drama may be rooted in something more than what was shown on Southern Charm.
According to a new tweet, Shep Rose is now revealing that he is not jealous of his co-star, even though Conover may have more education on his résumé. Rose would probably argue that he would have become a lawyer if it was something he really wanted to do. Instead, Shep claims that Craig was actually very annoying all season, which is why they argued so much.
“Thanks for not reading the #craiglist Shep Rose! See I told yall he actually loves me. Can’t wait to start our 4-month tolerance again buddy,” Conover revealed on Twitter as the Southern Charm reunion aired, which had fans reacting with, “It is obvious Shep and Whitney are both jealous of Craig. Shep is a total jerk… cant stand him.”
But it sounds like Shep Rose doesn’t agree with that particular statement. Some people believe that Conover’s co-stars are jealous of his life because he wrapped up law school and partied almost every night. But Rose made himself a promise to get his life on the right track this season, and when Season 2 premieres, Shep revealed that he had bought a home and opened a dive bar.
“Whitney and I are jealous of Craig? Bahaha. You’re spot on man. Damn that’s funny,” Shep Rose revealed on Twitter in response to the comment made by fans of the show.
As for Whitney, he appears to be on the same page, adding that he may have been a little harsh towards Craig when they were filming Southern Charm. He adds that he is not as rude in real life as he is on television.
“I’m not an a**hole, I just play one on TV. Please tune in for the final display tonight #Southern Charm,” he previously revealed.
And the Southern Charm cast didn’t purposefully go after Craig. Shep Rose revealed that Conover was not pleasurable to be around while filming, and he was often making irrational decisions. Even Craig later admitted that he needed a lifestyle change, and him being fired from the law firm was a wake up call.
“He [Conover] was a nightmare a lot of the time,” Rose has said about Craig, adding that it was all coming from a place of love and concern.
