‘RHOBH’ Star Kyle Richards To Produce New TV Land Comedy Based On Her Childhood, Will Troubled Sister Kim Richards Be Involved?

Each week, Kyle Richards puts her life on full display as one of the stars of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Now the former child star is ready to show the world what it was like growing up in Beverly Hills, in the form of a TV Land sitcom based on her life.

Yesterday, Kyle shared the news with her millions of Twitter followers, People magazine reported.

“I am extremely excited and proud to be collaborating with such a talented and creative team of John Wells Productions, John Riggi, Warner Horizon Television and TV Land to bring this story to life.”

According to People, “The series will follow a 40-year-old single mother, Bonnie Nolan, raising three young daughters in the 1970s.”

This is a premise that closely resembles how Kyle, 46, and sisters Kim Richards, 50, and Kathy Hilton, 56, grew up.

It seems that Kyle is moving forward with her own endeavors despite all of the drama that us surrounding her sister, Kim Richards, over the past few weeks.

Kim and Kyle Richards had both been stars on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills since its inception, and the drama between the sisters has often been one of the main storylines on the show.

During the Season 1 finale, Kyle let a dark family secret out of the bag during a fight with her sister. After months of erratic behavior, Kyle announced to the world that Kim was an alcoholic.

Kim completed rehab in 2012, and seemed to have finally gotten control over her demons. Flash forward to the latest season, which saw Kim and Kyle butting heads again, and Kim displaying strange behavior once again. Kim was even visibly under the influence after taking a pain pill at a poker party, which lead her castmates to question her sobriety, leading to even more drama between the two sisters.

Kim entered rehab again earlier this year, after a drunken arrest at the Beverly Hills Polo Club. She left rehab in order to attend her daughter Brooke’s Mexican nuptials, only to relapse again and go missing.

And the drama seems to have finally caught up with Kim, because she will not be joining her sister Kyle on the next season of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

“It was decided this morning (Wednesday, June 3) at a meeting that Kim is not being asked back on the show because of her failure to communicate everything with her bosses,” a network insider told Radar Online.

It was also reported that Kyle and sister Kathy Hilton are so fed up that they are ready to give Kim some tough love and cut her off financially and emotionally. That makes it look like a long shot that Kim would ever get to be a part of her new show.

At this point, Kyle Richards has not announced a premiere date for her new sitcom.
