Ashton Kutcher To Portray Steve Jobs In New Film

Ashton Kutcher is going from Two and a Half Men to the indie biopic screen when he takes on the role of Apple founder Steve Jobs.

Kutcher does bare a resemblance to Steve Jobs, especially with his longer Two and a Half men hair which is practically an ode to 1970s Steve Jobs. Come to think of it he plays a billionaire computer genius on the CBS show.

The biopic is titled Jobs and it will be filmed during the Two and a Half Men shooting off-season which means no he isn’t leaving CBS but will instead film the indie flick while on a short hiatus from the show.

The film follows Steve Jobs’ life from his time as a “hippie” to his co-founding role at Apple and eventually as one of the most powerful men in the history of the technology sector and the business world on a whole.

Jobs passed away last October and his death from Cancer was met with autobiographical stories and even a few life like Steve Jobs dolls that were shot down by Apple’s lawyers.

The Jobs indie flick is based on the authorized Steve Jobs bio written by Walter Isaacson.

Sources say Ashton Kutcher will likely sign on for another season of Two and a Half Men although he’s said to be asking for $1 million an episode, a $300,000 pay raise when compared to his current salary for the show.

Shooting on the Jobs biopic would likely start in May, that’s the time when Ashton Kutcher’s role on Two and a Half Men will go on hiatus.
