Kyle Richards Tweets Of New Show After She & Kathy Hilton Reportedly Cut Off Sister Kim

Kyle Richards is speaking out about her new comedy series with TV Land. As word hits the web regarding her and her step-sister Kathy Hilton’s decision to cut off their younger sister, Kim, Kyle Richards is staying focused on the positive.

On June 2, Kyle Richards shared the following tweet with fans.

Kyle Richards’ new show will be based around her childhood. As fans of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills are aware of, Kyle Richards and her sisters, Kathy and Kim, grew up in Los Angeles, and were raised by a single mother. The unnamed TV Land show will follow the character of their mother, who will be named Bonnie Nolan, and are in 30-minute episodes.

Kyle Richards’ sister, Kim, recently relapsed after a few years of sobriety, and as a result, both Richards, along with husband Mauricio Umansky, and Hilton, have reported stopped helping her financially. Earlier this week, as the Inquisitr previously reported, TMZ claims Richards and Umansky had cut off Kim after deciding their help was enabling Kim’s bad behavior.

On June 2, TMZ reported the following.

“Kim Richards has just lost 2 of the most important people in her life, because we’ve learned her sister Kyle and husband Mauricio Umansky have washed their hands of her… ironically, to save her.”

According to the site, Kyle Richards and her husband flew a bodyguard to Mexico, who they hired to force Kim back to Los Angeles, after she went MIA after her daughter’s wedding. The site also claimed Kim had been drinking heavily — and allegedly abusing prescription pills — before flying back home with said bodyguard.

“Kyle and Mauricio feel Kim is actually in danger of dying. But they believe the only hope is for her to realize they will not be her safety net to constantly bail her out.”

Days later, Radar Online claimed Hilton, who has supported Kim for “the last several years, after [Kyle Richards] stopped paying for a majority of their sister’s bills,” has ceased her financial assistance, as well.

“After Kim relapsed at Brooke’s wedding, Kathy realized that she was enabling the behavior. There will no longer be any money going to Kim from Kathy.”

According to Radar Online‘s source, Hilton was giving Kim between $5,000 and $10,000, each month.

No word yet on a premiere date or title for Kyle Richards’ new comedy.
