Kathy Hilton Cuts Off Financial Support To Kim Richards After Alleged Relapse

Kathy Hilton is serving up some tough love to Kim Richards after the RHOBH star’s recent relapse. Hilton, who has been financially supporting for sister for several years, has decided to cut the reality star off financially.

According to Radar Online, a source close to the family claims that after Kim’s relapse at her daughter Brooke’s wedding last month, Kathy realized she is only enabling her sister’s behavior by providing financial support.

“Hilton has supported the former child star for the last several years, after Kyle stopped paying for a majority of their sister’s bills. After Kim relapsed at Brooke’s wedding, Kathy realized that she was enabling the behavior. There will no longer be any money going to Kim from Kathy.”

Kathy allegedly provides $5,000 to $10,000 per month in financial support to Kim.

Kim Richards allegedly suffered a relapse late last month while attending her daughter’s wedding in Mexico. Her bizarre behavior at the wedding led some guests to believe she was under the influence of drugs or alcohol or both. Although initial reports indicated Kim did not go back to rehab on Monday as planned, Radar Online reports the reality star did, indeed, return to rehab, but to a different facility.

Things have not been going well for the reality star since her arrest for public intoxication earlier this year. As the Inquisitr previously reported, Kim’s alleged relapse has jeopardized her criminal case relating to her April arrest. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ star is also being sued yet again in another alleged pit bull attack. Kelly Crossley filed suit against Kim Richards on Tuesday for what she says was an unprovoked attack by Kim’s pit bull, Kingsley. Crossley claims in her lawsuit she suffered grave bodily injuries as a result of the dog attack and that Kim, nor her family members, took any type of precautions to prevent the attack. Crossley is seeking unspecified monetary damages to cover medical costs, pain and suffering, loss of income and punitive damages to deter this type of behavior in the future.

Kathy Hilton is not the only family member who has decided to show some tough love to Kim Richards. As TMZ reports, Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky have also decided to wash their hands of the reality TV star. A source tells TMZ that Richards and Umansky believe Kim is in danger of dying and the couple feels the only way to save her is by not always being there to bail her out of trouble.
