Casey Anthony’s Interview To Tell About Caylee’s Death? Lawyer Speaks About Rumors

Will Casey Anthony’s interview in NYC be a tell-all that gives us news about Caylee Anthony’s death? Reports seem to indicate Casey is haggling over dollar figures, but her current lawyer, Cheney Mason, seems to be doubtful of these rumors.

In a related report by the Inquisitr, Casey Anthony’s lawyer used to be Jose Baez, but it appears he was royally hosed when it came time for Casey to pay the legal defense bill.

“Her listed debts owed to 80 creditors included $500,000 for attorney fees and costs for Jose Baez; $145,660 for the Orange County Sheriff’s office for a judgment covering investigative fees and costs related to the case; $68,540 for the Internal Revenue Service for back taxes, interest and penalties; and $61,505 for the Florida Department of Law Enforcement for court costs.”

Oddly enough, Baez ended up in jail while his client managed to get off scot-free after Caylee Anthony’s death.

The reason for Casey Anthony’s interview would thus be her net worth, or rather her lack of any substantial source of money. It is claimed that Anthony has been working from her home and is limited to jobs as “a housekeeper, clerk, secretary, and stuff like that.” Regardless, she somehow managed to afford a new home in Florida, and it is claimed she has people donating money to her in order to enable her current lifestyle.

Casey Anthony Partying And Smoking

Well, Casey Anthony’s net worth may get quite the bump soon if TMZ is correct. They claim she is ready to “sing like a canary” during an interview in NYC. The woman identified by photographers denies she was Casey, but it’s claimed she was spotted walking with a known public relations guy.

“The white-haired gent by her side is a PR guy who was negotiating an interview with the networks right after her 2011 acquittal. As we reported, Casey wanted cash and some networks were wheeling and dealing, but all got cold feet in the end. But now they’re back and she’s about to appear on TV for her first sit-down.”

The Orlando Sentinel spoke to lawyer Cheny Mason for insight into what topics may be featured in Casey Anthony’s interview, but “his office on Monday said that Mason seriously doubts the report, but he has no knowledge about it.” Keep in mind that the office is not required to talk about Casey’s plans, and it’s possible she did not tell them what she’s been up to in NYC.

At the same time, Mason has been Casey’s pro bono lawyer for quite a while now, and he handles many things including “vitriolic hate mail and death threats.”

“She has to live constantly on guard. She can’t go out in public. I think Casey has a lot of world left to have to deal with. She hasn’t been freed from her incarceration yet ’cause she can’t go out. She can’t go to a beauty parlor, she can’t go shopping to a department store, she can’t go to a restaurant, she can’t even go to McDonald’s. She can’t do anything.”

Would you watch Casey Anthony’s interview? Do you think it would be an outrage if she were paid money to talk candidly about Caylee Anthony’s death?
