Bruce Jenner: Surgery For ‘Facial Feminization’ Planned, Bruce Continues Transition On ‘KUWTK’

Bruce Jenner prepares for surgery on Sunday night’s episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians. According to ABC News, last night’s episode had Kourtney, Kim, and Khloe talking about Bruce’s plan to have surgery on his face. The show has been following Bruce on his journey to becoming a woman.

While KUWTK isn’t focused solely on the former athlete, he’s still very much a part of the show. He is still supposed to be filming his own show that will air on E! at a later time.

“Have you guys talked to Bruce? Did you hear he’s having a surgery this week?” Kourtney asks Kim and Khloe on KUWTK. Bruce was reportedly preparing to undergo “facial feminization” surgery, which is supposed to soften his face and give him a more feminine look.

Bruce Jenner has had surgery in the past as well — multiple times. Not only has he had at least one facelift, he has had his nose done, and has shaved down his Adam’s apple. All of these things have been part of his transition, which people — including his family — found out about recently.

According to Mail Online, Jenner is really excited about being honest with the world. He finally gets to go through with all of this, which is something that he has wanted for many, many years.

“I, at the age of 65, am starting a new chapter in my life. I have decisions that I’m so excited about, but also nervous about,” Bruce said. These surgeries are just part of Bruce’s overall transition, but each one means he’s one step closer to becoming a woman.

Bruce Jenner will have more surgery in the future, but it is unclear when he will be finished, or when he will feel complete. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, there were a couple of rumors floating around that Bruce already underwent gender reassignment surgery, and that he has officially become a woman.

“The procedure involved reshaping [Bruce Jenner]’s male genitalia into that of a woman. He was very happy with the results, but didn’t realize how grueling the recovery would be,” shared a source last week. “Bruce is officially, and for all legal purposes, considered a woman. Bruce’s kids have never seen him so happy. They just wish he would publicly start living as a woman, but contractually, he has to keep it under wraps until the docuseries premieres,” the source added.

Rumors indicated that Bruce wanted to be called Belinda, but new rumors suggest that he has chosen the name Kaitlyn. He has said that he’d prefer that people refer to him as a man (and as a “he”) until he says otherwise.
