Body Part Found Inside Passengers Luggage

A man flying out of Bucharest international airport on his way to Italy was recently detained by security agents when they discovered human remains inside the passengers luggage.

According to prosecutors involved in the mans case a fragment of human lower limb was discovered in the mans suitcase.

At this time prosecutors are not quite sure where the limb came from, while they promise:

“All possible leads are being examined.”

An intelligence service (SRI) spokesman tells AFP:

“The fragment of a human body was discovered during the first security check on the airport and the owner of the bag was held on the spot.”

While its not clear if this case is connected, Romania during the 1990s had a rather large problem with the murdering of Chinese nationals. In one case two Chinese men were murdered and there bodies were then boiled to make identifying them nearly impossible. In another case several countrymen killed a Chinese man and simply discarded his body in the sewage system.

Much like the current case however four other murdered Chinese nationals have also been found inside suitcases over the years.

Investigators may never known if the current bone fragment is part of the same movement that led to all of those other deaths many years ago, at this time officials are examining all leads but have provided no further details about the man who was arrested or the identity of the bone fragment they discovered inside the airport.
