Kim Kardashian Dissed By Carl’s Jr. CEO For Her Inability To Eat A Burger Provocatively, She Fires Back

Kim Kardashian and Carl’s Jr. CEO Andy Puzder seem to have a difference of opinion why the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star was featured eating a salad in a recent ad for the restaurant chain.

In a recent interview with the Associated Press, Puzder dissed Kim Kardashian, saying she was not featured eating their signature burger because “she wasn’t good at eating the burger.”

During the AP interview, Puzder was talking about the provocative ads that tend to feature sexy models and celebrities indulging in greasy burgers. The sexual innuendo has proven to be successful for the company.

Puzder spoke about several celebrities that have provocatively eaten the burgers for the ads that have had phenomenal success.

However, Kim Kardashion, did not have the “gift” of eating the burgers with gusto, if you will, for a 2010 commercial featuring the reality star.

“We used Kim Kardashian in an ad. But Kim really couldn’t eat the burgers. Luckily, we had a salad we were promoting, so we used Kim in the salad ad.”

Apparently Kim Kardashian was so lousy at eating the burgers, its highly unlikely she will be asked to make a Carl’s Jr. comeback.

“But if we had not been promoting a salad, we probably never would’ve done an ad with Kim, because she wasn’t good at eating the burger. She’s too tiny. She’s really little.”

According to Puzder, there is real skill involved in eating a burger provocatively and not all models have the skill.

“First of all, you really need to be able to eat the burger like you’re loving it. We don’t want somebody that’s going to go out there and say, ‘Well, I don’t eat burgers.’ You really have to go at it. You really have to attack it.”

According to New York Magazine, Puzder also took a dig at Heidi Klum, calling her “no spring chicken.”

Kim Kardashian explains the circumstances surrounding the salad-eating commercial a little differently.

A rep for Kim Kardashian said that the claim was completely false, saying that Kardashian was only used in salad commercial because at the time the ad was released, she was also releasing her fitness DVD and wanted to eat something “that fit her image.”
