Bruce Jenner: ‘Vanity Fair’ Cover Pose First To Show Jenner As Transgender Woman After Plastic Surgery [Video]

Bruce Jenner will pose for Vanity Fair, and Jenner’s face on the cover of the famous publication will show the patriarch of the Keeping Up with the Kardashians family as a woman. Although Bruce has been a magazine cover model before, the Vanity Fair feature will be the first since his transgender revelation, reported People.

In addition, that cover shot will be taken by a legend in her own right: Annie Leibovitz. Among other famous folks captured through Leibovitz’s lenses are Michael Jackson, George Clooney, Queen Elizabeth II, Johnny Depp, and Lady Gaga.

Thus far, the 65-year-old Olympic gold winner has not revealed his female name, dubbing that persona only “Her.” The issue will be released in the summer.

The announcement of the cover follows the revelations in the Keeping Up with the Kardashians: About Bruce special. One of the discussions that achieved the most attention was a conversation between Khloe Kardashian and Bruce.

“Are you planning on not being Bruce any time soon?” asked Khloe.

“That’s quite possible, yeah… probably in the spring,” said Jenner.

In addition to that special, which followed his Diane Sawyer interview, Jenner will reveal the details of “Her” new life in a docu-series that will start July 26 on the E! Network.

As the Inquisitr reported, Bruce also has gradually revealed more details of the plastic surgery procedures that he has had during the transition from male to female.

The procedures include a nose job, an upper lip lift, and forehead surgery. Jenner unveiled the past and future of his plastic surgery in a meeting with his daughters, including both Kendall and Kylie Jenner and Khloe, Kim, and Kourtney Kardashian.

And some of the girls are now revealing that they knew years ago, as Kim discusses below.

In doing so, Bruce also provided insights as to what’s involved in changing genders.

“Guys have a little ridge here,” pointed out Jenner, gesturing to his facial features.

Although Jenner was sharing the details now, Khloe was upset that she was discovering that some changes already had been done without her knowledge.

“There are very premeditated operations, these are not anything you decide on a whim.”

And for both the Kardashians and the Jenners, Bruce’s transition revelations have been emotional, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Some of his daughters said that they felt they were losing their father.

“Shouldn’t Kendall and Kylie have the opportunity to say goodbye?” asked Khloe.

“I’m not going anywhere,” he reassured.

“It’s not the same person. Even you said she had a different personality,” said Khloe.
