Jennifer Garner And Ben Affleck Have Lunch Amid Divorce Drama
Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck were once considered the most solid of solid Hollywood couples. Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck are apparently no longer as solid as once thought. That doesn’t mean the couple aren’t able to try and live a normal life from time to time.
While rumors swirl about Jennifer Garner’s impending divorce from her longtime husband, she and Affleck were snapped on Thursday heading out to lunch together. Some might point to this kind of outing as a sign that the rumors of Jennifer Garner’s marriage’s demise were greatly exaggerated. However, the problem with immediately dismissing those rumors is that the photos that were taken and placed on websites like People clearly show a couple that aren’t all smiles and mirth.
Of course, it’s also possible that the couple knew they were being followed and photographed. Even someone as photogenic as Jennifer Garner isn’t likely to enjoy that all the time. Perhaps the camera simply caught them in a moment where they were having a serious conversation. Even happy couples have those from time to time. One thing is clear, even an afternoon out for the couple and their kids isn’t going to stop rumors that there is trouble in paradise.
Rumors have been flowing fast and furious over the last few weeks that Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck are no longer happy together. Still, as Yahoo pointed out, there appears to be at least some truth to the rumors that the pair have been drifting apart for some time. The fact that Jennifer Garner’s people won’t directly address the talk is only fueling the fire. Part of the reason people believe the two are heading towards splitsville is simply because they aren’t seen together all that often. In fact, before Thursday’s lunch out, it had been quite a while since anyone saw them spending time together.
It’s entirely possible that part of the problem is Ben Affleck’s busy schedule since he landed the role of Bruce Wayne in Batman vs Superman. There is talk that he will also be making an appearance in Suicide Squad and other films inhabiting the DC Comics world, and that has left him far apart from Jennifer Garner. When the two did go out to lunch on Thursday, people were quick to point out that all of their attention was paid to their children. While this is good for the kids, it seems to indicate that Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck still aren’t connecting.
