Jennie Garth: I Did Everything I Could To Save My Marriage With Peter Facinelli

Jennie Garth and Peter Facinelli recently ended their 11-year-marriage but it wasn’t for a lack of trying. The former “Beverly Hills, 90210” star said that she did everything she could to try to save her marriage.

Garth told People Magazine:

“We both saw it unravel and it was painful. I tried everything I could to save our marriage. I didn’t want it to happen. He did what he needed to do. …Of course I wish he had wanted to try harder, try again, try something else.”

Garth said that their long-distance relationship (Facinelli has been spending a lot of time in Vancouver filming “Twilight”) made things especially hard. The New York Daily News reports that rumors have been circulating that Facinelli had cheated on Garth, but the actress said that the rumors are not true.

Jennie is now moving on with her life but admits that it will be hard without Facinelli at her side. Garth said:

“I’m slowly finding my own voice again. There are days when it seems I got it all figured out and days when I lose sight. I just have to keep on my path.”

Garth will soon have her schedule filled up however, as the actress and her three daughters, Luca, 14, Lola, 9, and Fiona, 5, will soon be staring in a new reality show “Jennie Garth: A little Bit County” on CMT. The new show starts April 20th.
