WWE Rumors: Brock Lesnar’s Return To WWE Revealed, But Is The Company Trying To Work The Fans? — Seth Rollins Taunts Lesnar

Ever since Brock Lesnar received an “indefinite suspension” from WWE, many rumors have been floating around as to when he could return. It’s been thought that he will be back in time to start a program for SummerSlam, but then there have even been slip-ups from WWE and it spurred even more rumors. Now, Lesnar has been publicly advertised to return to WWE television, but is it all a work?

During the early morning hours of Thursday, the official Twitter for Banker’s Life Fieldhouse tweeted out the date for Brock Lesnar’s return to WWE TV.

If this is true, it would be a lot earlier than the rumored dates going around the past month. Those have speculated that Lesnar would return either at WWE Battleground on July 19, or at Monday Night RAW the night after.

This would give him more than enough time to begin a program with someone for a match at SummerSlam. Adding a little more credibility to this was a big WWE slip-up over the weekend that promoted him appearing at RAW on July 20 in Kansas City, Missouri.

Soon after being noticed, that slip-up was removed.

Not long after The Fieldhouse tweeted about Brock Lesnar’s return, the Allstate Arena in Chicago announced that he would be at the RAW taping on July 6, too, per WrestleZone. The website also soon received an email from the Scottrade Center that Lesnar will appear at Battleground as well.

“For the first time in over 2 years ‘The Beast’ Brock Lesnar will be live in St. Louis at the WWE Battleground PPV! See what unfolds when Brock makes his return to action at the Scottrade Center on Sunday July 19th.

In addition you will see United States Champion John Cena, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, St. Louis’ own Randy Orton, Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, Bray Wyatt, Dolph Ziggler, The Divas and many more as the WWE Battleground PPV come to St. Louis for the first time ever!”

The rumors of Lesnar returning have had him coming back from his “suspension” at the end of July. Then, there was the slip-up on the WWE website, and now he’s appearing at all these TV events within the next two months?

Could WWE be trying to work the fans?

As always, WWE and arenas let it be known that the card and talent appearing is “subject to change.” WWE may end up advertising Brock Lesnar for these different RAWs and Battleground to get more people to tune in or even sign up for WWE Network.

That remains to be seen, but whatever the case, WWE talent is running with it. WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins spoke with Digital Spy about a number of topics, including the return of Brock Lesnar.

“The suspension is indefinite, luckily, so we’ll see how long it lasts. But I’m sure Lesnar’s got his eyes set on the prize, I don’t know why he wouldn’t. And I would be glad to give him a rematch, when the time is right. When the situation calls for it. Until then he can sit on the sidelines and enjoy his time at home.”

Now, Brock Lesnar is being advertised all over the place even though he’s still on “indefinite suspension.” It’s kind of odd that WWE would promote his return and break storyline like that, but anything is possible. They could be just working the fans or it could be the truth, but rumors are flying and Brock Lesnar‘s return is coming soon.
