Kim K Gets New Look: Reality Star Channels Marilyn Monroe In ‘Vogue Brasil’

Kim Kardashian is gracing the cover of Vogue…Vogue Brasil that is. The 34-year-old reality star is channeling her inner Marilyn Monroe for the June 2015 cover of the fashion magazine. Kim doesn’t just appear on the magazine once. In fact, she graces the cover of the magazine twice.

Kim K is rocking a new look once again. She’s showing off the platinum blonde hair she debuted at Paris Fashion Week earlier this year. Now, Kim is showing off this now-iconic look for the last time on the cover of Vogue Brasil. She also posted for some more topless photos inside the special “Ideal Body” issue.

The reality star looked to her icon Marilyn Monroe as inspiration behind this photo shoot shot by Ellen von Unwerth. In one of the cover photos, Kardashian shows off her midriff in a matching black crop top and skirt. In the other cover, she lays on a leopard print throw as she wears black leather elbow-length gloves.

Inside the magazine is where it gets steamy. Kim K shows off her new look as she covers her famous assets with her crossed arms. In the sexy photo, she wears nothing but a pair of black pantyhose. The vision behind Vogue Brasil’s photo shoot was for a “2015 version” of Marilyn. Kim K happened to be the only famous woman who was rocking the platinum blonde hair at the time of the photo shoot.

“The idea of the shoot for Vogue Brazil, photographed by the German Ellen von Unwerth in a house in Malibu, was to portray Kim as a sort of Marilyn Monroe version in 2015 – and, coincidentally, her hair was dyed platinum at the time.”

Kardashian doesn’t just embrace her inner Monroe. She also discusses about her talent, or lack thereof.

“I challenge anyone to try to do everything I do and then tell me whether or not I have talent.”

The style icon also opens up about her famous body, her fashion choices, and family, although additional quotes have not yet been released, as previously reported via E! News.

Kim K may not be sporting the platinum blonde hair these days, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t like the look. She previously told People’s StyleWatch that her new hair color was a “last-minute decision.” In fact, Kim K looks to blonde beauties like Madonna and Marilyn Monroe as inspirations for her sexy looks.

“I’ve always had this image of Madonna with platinum hair in my references folder on my computer and I’ve been waiting a long time to try the look.”

It wouldn’t be surprising if Kardashian reemerges with blonde hair again in the near future. Kardashian’s colorist Lori Goddard said that the platinum blonde hair makeover was perfect timing for the busy mom.

“It’s something she’s said outright that she’s been thinking about for a while, but the time just hasn’t been right.”
