‘Marriage Boot Camp’ Brings Jeff Schroeder, Jordan Lloyd Of ‘Big Brother’ Back To Reality TV

A new season of Marriage Boot Camp begins this week and Big Brother stars Jeff Schroeder and Jordan Lloyd will be one of the couples participating. Jeff and Jordan are reality television fan favorites, but it sounds as if everybody will see a bit of a different side to the duo with this project. What issues are causing challenges for the couple and what do Marriage Boot Camp fans need to know about Schroeder and Lloyd?

Entertainment Weekly shares a sneak peek into Season 3 of Marriage Boot Camp with Jeff Schroeder and Jordan Lloyd. From the preview clip the site shares, it seems that many of the issues Jeff and Jordan need to work on are fairly minor. The crux of the challenge, it appears, is related to differing communication styles and expectations of one another.

Jordan says that they often have problems understanding one another and adds that things are left unresolved too frequently. Seeing that Jeff and Jordan struggle with communication regularly probably doesn’t come as a surprise to long-time Big Brother fans. While the two have been together for a long time, much of what fans have loved about them is their quirky communication style.

Jeff and Jordan met on Season 11 of Big Brother during the summer of 2009 and flirted with one another all summer. They both returned for Season 13 and did a season of The Amazing Race together as well. Jordan and Jeff got engaged last summer after five years of dating and they recently revealed that they’ve set a wedding date for October 2016.

Schroeder and Lloyd told the Big Brother Network that they took advantage of the opportunity to do Season 3 of Marriage Boot Camp in order to become as strong a couple as possible before tying the knot. They also saw it as an opportunity to try something new, and they probably knew that fans would love the opportunity to see them back on reality TV.

Jeff says they had never watched the show before being approached about the opportunity. However, they decided that the fact that Bachelorette stars Trista and Ryan Sutter had done the show previously was a good sign. Were they happy with how the experience went?

Schroeder says that he did learn a lot about how he communicates with Jordan and he has become better able to pick up on her wants and needs. Jordan says that she has learned to focus on being more positive as well as being more supportive of Jeff’s career. Since the two are now planning their wedding and look as happy as ever with one another, it would seem the show did indeed help them with their relationship.

Other couples participating in Season 3 include Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Baskett, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino and Lauren Pesce, Aubrey O’Day and Travis Garland, along with Tami Roman and Reggie Youngblood. The new season of Marriage Boot Camp premieres on May 29 on WE TV.
