Taylor Swift And Calvin Harris Make Time For Date Night Despite Their Long Distance Relationship

Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris were photographed as they had a hot date night in New York City. The couple was spotted eating at the Soho eatery L’asso on Tuesday night.

Swift, 25, wore a matching baby blue crop top and flared skirt in a feminine floral pattern. Harris, 31, kept it casual with a black T-Shirt, leather jacket, and matching jeans. Several onlookers were there to witness Swift and Harris’ steamy night out.

Sources told Us Weekly that the DJ and producer stayed at Swift’s Tribeca apartment. Calvin is spending as much time with Taylor during his New York City trip. According to the insider, Taylor has changed Calvin’s hard partying ways.

“They’re really into each other. Normally when Calvin parties, there are girls everywhere, but he’s completely toned down and is just about Taylor. He’s changed because of her — he’s much nicer, a lot more calm. He’s happy to stay home with her and not be on the scene.”

So, what does the couple do together? They binge on Netflix, of course!

“They spend a lot of nights watching Netflix and catching up on shows they never get to see. He had no idea that she would change him so much.”

Date nights are rare for the couple since Swift is currently on her 1989 World Tour. Another insider told the HollywoodLife that Harris is not letting the distance ruin their relationship. In fact, he’s set on making it work.

“As much as Calvin is busy with his own career, he has major leeway because he usually performs on the weekends, which allows him to travel a lot. And he intends to do that in order to be with Taylor as much as possible.”

Back to Swift and Harris’ date night. The couple sat a booth in back of the cozy pizza place. Swift drank white wine, while Harris opted to drink water. They were also acted like an adoring couple on their date.

“They ordered a salad and then two gluten-free pizzas. Before the food came they were holding hands and they were really engaged with each other. You can tell they were totally a couple and so into one another. They laughed and were talking throughout the night.”

“When the pizza came, Taylor served Calvin a slice of pizza on his plate then gave herself one.”

Swift even pulled out her phone and showed it to Harris, a source told E! News. She didn’t stay on her phone for the duration of the date though. Things got a little sweeter towards the end of Swift’s date with Harris.

“She took his hand towards the end and put it close to her heart. It was a sincere gesture.”

Taylor recently admitted during her interview with Radio 1 Breakfast Show host Nick Grimshaw that she often flies home in between shows. That’s probably how she tries to make her relationship with Calvin work.

“When I was starting out I’d go on tour for three months and I was gone for three months. Now almost 10 years in I thank God we get to play bigger shows so I don’t have to play as many. If we’re playing stadiums, I’ll do two or three a week, not five shows a week, then I get to fly home in between. It’s not that bad. It’s not that hard. It’s made out to be harder than it is.”

Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris made their relationship official right around the time the singer had to take off on tour. It looks like they’re both working hard to make the relationship work, despite their hectic schedules. What are your thoughts on the happy couple?
