Bikini’d Jessica Alba Is The Hottest Picture Of The Summer
Jessica Alba looks like the picture of the summer in Shape Magazine’s latest issue.
Jessica Alba appears on the cover of the June, 2015, issue of Shape, and in a collection of bright colored swimsuits for the interview. Alba, 34, admitted that “working out sucks,” in the editorial. She manages to stay motivated by taking fitness classes with other people surrounding her.
“I attribute my athletic body to the martial arts, gymnastics, dance and strength training I did while filming Dark Angel,” Alba said of her action-packed TV series, which aired from 2000 to 2002. “That’s made me strong and really set the bar.”
Jessica Alba said that becoming a mother changed her self-image for the better. Alba is the mother of two children.
“I wasn’t truly confident about my body until I had my daughters, Honor, 7, and Haven, 3,” she said. “I felt more comfortable in my own skin after they were born. Plus, if I want them to be happy with their bodies, I need to walk the walk.”
Alba discussed her simple workout routine, and her music taste with Shape. Her fitness routine has been one of the few constant parts of her life over the last decade of being a major celebrity.
“I have to break a sweat or I don’t feel like I’ve gotten anything done. When I only have 30 minutes, I’ll do a series of burpees, mountain climbers, squat jumps, planks, and a few sun salutations. But I’m not going to lie. Working out sucks. Which is why I love taking classes, because I’m surrounded by other people and that keeps me motivated and accountable. These days, I do power yoga with light weights in a 105-degree room, so it’s a mix of hot yoga and strength training. I also spin. The key for me is good music, like 2 Chainz, Lil Wayne, Rihanna, Jay-Z, Beyonce?.”
Alba’s physique is not all attributed to her fitness — her eating habits are of utmost importance as well. One of her favorite healthy treats is a homemade green smoothie.
Alba played a superhero in Fantastic Four and an absolute babe in Into the Blue, and most recently killed it in Taylor Swift’s most recent music video, “Bad Blood.”
Jessica Alba is also the owner and co-founder of a billion dollar company, named Honest Company. This company is a consumer goods business that emphasizes the use of non-toxic household products to supply the marketplace for ethical consumerism.
