‘Dance Moms’ Spoilers: Nia Tackles Australia, Abby Suggests A Back-Up Plan
Dance Moms is back with the second part of their Australia tour on Tuesday night. Abby Lee Miller wants to make sure she and her group make the best possible impression while they’re in Australia, but some of the Abby Lee Dance Company gals have their own projects to tout. Nia Sioux Frazier is in the midst of developing her music career, and it seems this will lead to a fresh round of drama in the May 26 special. What Dance Moms spoilers are available for this one?
As Nia’s mom Holly teases via Twitter, Tuesday’s episode of Dance Moms will feature a performance Nia did live in Australia after the release of her first song and video. A clip from Nia’s Instagram page shows that JoJo Siwa joined Nia for the performance and fans think the girls killed it.
The Dance Moms spoiler preview via the show’s Facebook page, however, shows that Abby may not share the same opinion. As Jill points out, Abby is not one who wants to feel as if she’s being shown up. Miller had an agenda for the group’s time in Australia, and Nia having success on her own with the release of her song and explosion of her singing career doesn’t quite fit into that agenda.
The preview shows that Nia is anxious to prove she can become a superstar, but Abby seems to say she thinks Nia had better have a back-up plan. Of course, the way it all plays out on-screen may be a bit different from how the clip edits it all. Despite some drama, the girls did seem to have a blast in Australia together and fans seem to have loved Nia and JoJo’s performance.
The show returns with regular episodes again on June 9, so there’s not much of a gap between new episodes during this mid-season hiatus. Many fans have worried that there will be some big departures in the back half of Season 5. Despite a lot of buzz that perhaps Nia and Holly have left the show, Nia has taken to social media to say that’s not the case.
Nia and JoJo clearly have become very close in the past few months, and they’re working on several fun projects together. As much as some fans may want the Dance Moms girls to embrace the opportunities they have in the industry and leave the show behind, so far, it would appear they’re sticking together and will be around for the upcoming episodes.
