Taylor Swift Says Being A Pop Star Is ‘Not That Hard,’ Plus, Did The ‘Blank Space’ Singer Confront Calvin Harris About His Wandering Eye?

Taylor Swift may be an international pop star, who has had sold more than 27 million albums, but in a new interview with BBC Radio 1’s Nick Grimshaw, she revealed that it is not as hard as it looks.

“It’s not that hard, I’m telling you now it’s really not,” Swift, 25, told Grimshaw, according to the BBC. “Sometimes I really don’t think it’s that hard at all.”

Swift is currently in the midst of a world tour to promote her blockbuster album 1989, and it is in fact the tour that makes her feel productive on a day-to-day basis.

“That’s the best part of this,” she said of the international tour. “When you walk off stage and you’re drenched in sweat and you’re tired and your legs hurt… It feels like you’re really working for the job. It’s nice to feel tired after a show. I’m like ‘Oh my God, I’m finally doing something.’ I really like the feeling of: ‘You know what? I’ve been busy. I deserve this watching two hours of TV at the end of the night.'”

Taylor Swift has also been making news lately with her relationship with DJ Calvin Harris. After being making their public debut as a couple by being lovey-dovey at the Billboard Music Awards, the couple each embarked on separate tours. Which, the Daily Mail reports, has lead to friction with the relatively new couple due to Calvin’s wandering eye.

The Mail reports that Calvin – the richest DJ in the world – was seen leaving a Las Vegas pool party with a pretty brunette in his entourage. The published photos lead the “Blank Space” singer to confront him over his playboy ways.

It remains to be seen if the mystery woman was in fact with Calvin, or just an innocent bystander. But Taylor may be getting a little karmic revenge. According to Radar Online, she started cozying up to the DJ when he still had a girlfriend.

Despite the distance while they are both on tour, Taylor and Calvin are determined to make their relationship work. After all, they both have had high profile relationships that ended very publicly. Calvin has dated singers Rita Ora and Ellie Goulding while Swift has dated One Direction’s Harry Styles and Southpaw star Jake Gyllenhaal.

Fans can catch Taylor Swift on her 1989 World Tour in the U.S. through mid-June before she heads overseas to play shows in Ireland, Great Britain and the Netherlands, before returning for more shows in the U.S.
