Amy Schumer ‘Bachelorette’ Snark Attack Adored By Twitter: Can Amy’s Antics Keep Her On ‘Bachelorette’?

Amy Schumer to become a bachelorette? Well, not exactly. The Mean Queen of Snark And Sarcasm, as her unofficial title reads, made an appearance on The Bachelorette Monday that managed to overpower even the boxing displays, reported People.

Schumer had been given a role to advise the guys on how to stand up to the trials and tribulations of stand-up comedy routines for their second group date. However, Amy isn’t one to let a script dictate what she does. So, instead of boring lessons, Amy devoted her Bachelorette appearance to mocking JJ.

“JJ’s a sweetheart. He’s just missing like, charisma and humility and sense of humor,” snarked Schumer.

And viewers adored Amy’s antics.

“No moment in #Bachelorette history has made me happier than @amyschumer taking down JJ.”

“Can Amy Schumer please do running commentary in a little box on the bottom right hand corner of every episode of the #Bachelorette”

Is it possible that Schumer could have a future as a commentator for The Bachelorette? If viewers have a vote, the answer is yes, was the consensus on Twitter.

“Oh God ABC please pay @amyschumer whatever she wants to do weekly #bachelorette commentary.”

“Omg @amyschumer please stick around and provide commentary through the final rose. Please. #bachelorette”

But others suggested that rather than providing background commentary, ABC turn Amy into a Bachelorette contestant.

“I vote @amyschumer as next bachelorette.”

“@amyschumer for next season’s Bachelorette. Big time TV/movie stars are dime a dozen! C’mon, Amy! #draftAmy”

But there’s just one problem, and that’s the fact that Schumer has problems keeping a secret when it comes to the beloved Bachelorette, reported Time.

Visiting Jimmy Kimmel Live recently, Amy dished on both bachelorettes, Britt and Kaitlyn, while revealing that she already knew way before anyone else who would become the one and only true Bachelorette.

In addition, Schumer spilled that she was dating all the dudes (sort of), and was also cheerful about ignoring any agreements not to disclose details of the show.

Moreover, as far as Amy becoming the bachelorette, Chris Harrison has his own candidate after years of enduring the Bachelor and Bachelorette franchise, as the Inquisitr reported.

He envisions his ex-wife as the Bachelorette.

Yes, you read that right — the man who makes a living from orchestrating singles in search of forever-love and marriage is divorced. And when news broke that he and Gwen were breaking their vows, the jokes about the irony of the situation were inevitable. But that doesn’t bother Harrison.

Instead, the jaunty host, who has gracefully anchored 19 seasons of Bachelor franchises is jazzed by the notion of Gwen as the next Bachelorette.

“[It would be] epic television, good or bad. It could be like the Hindenberg – the greatest disaster ever – but even that would be great TV.”
