‘Bachelorette’ Kaitlyn Bristowe Lied About Nick Viall, Relationship Before Filming Was ‘Much More Than A Few Texts’

Nick Viall will make his first appearance on Episode 4 of The Bachelorette when Kaitlyn Bristowe and her remaining guys travel to to New York City. Despite what previews show, the men weren’t given the whole story about Nick while they filmed the show, including the extent of Kaitlyn and Nick’s pre-show relationship. She also kept a few other secrets from them as well.

According to Reality Steve, Kaitlyn and Nick were texting, using Facetime, and corresponding through email “all the time” before she started filming the Bachelorette. However, when the guys get to New York City in Episode 5 (June 8), Kaitlyn downplays her relationship with Nick, telling the contestants on her rap battle group date that Nick approached her about coming on the show, but they only corresponded a “few times.”

“She said it was Nick and he had emailed and texted her a few times before. She didn’t know what she wanted to do yet and asked the guys. They were against it, so she said she wouldn’t bring him on that night but he might come on later.”

Aside from Kaitlyn not telling the guys that she spent more than a little time communicating with Nick, Reality Steve states that she met up with Andi Dorfman’s ex in NYC without the guys knowing.

“That night while the guys presumably thought Kaitlyn was off filming an ITM, is when she met up with Nick and they made out. Kaitlyn couldn’t possibly have been that surprised when she saw him in NY. And the fact they made out on Chelsea Piers pretty much should tell you all you need to know about their ‘relationship’ prior to the show.”

Steve goes on to say that his sources state Kaitlyn never met Nick in person before the show, but according to a previous report from the Inquisitr, Nick was in L.A. right before Kaitlyn started filming the Bachelorette — did they hookup then?

It’s likely she wasn’t quite as surprised as she appears in the preview when Nick arrives on the scene in New York in Episode 4. There’s definitely history between them, whether in-person or by what US Weekly calls “explicit texts.”

And then there’s the biggest bombshell of them all…

Not only does Steve reveal that Kaitlyn knew Nick a lot better than she revealed to the guys, he also states that she does not tell the guys that she had sex with him. The preview (below) shows her confessing to getting horizontal with one guy weeks before the Fantasy Suite dates, but Steve states that the piece was edited, and she is talking to cameras during an ITM.

Kaitlyn made it clear during an interview with E! Online that she doesn’t think it was a mistake to hook up with one guy while she still had other relationships to explore. While having sex on a reality show is not shocking at all, it must have been a big surprise for the guys to find out what happened after filming ended. Perhaps they would have made different choices if the previews were truthful, and Kaitlyn did confess about her mid-season sexcapade.

The Nick Viall situation will definitely make the upcoming Bachelorette Men Tell All special (July 27) must-see TV now that the guys are able to watch the season unfold on TV.
