Dick Van Dyke Dance: 89-Year-Old Actor Shows Off Dance Skills In New Music Video

Dick Van Dyke can still dance!

According to the Huffington Post, the 89-year-old actor showed off his dance skills in the new music video for Dustbowl Revival’s “Never Had to Go.” Not only does Dick dance, but he also gets his wife, Arlene, involved — it’s a total must watch.

According to KSL, the song itself is quite catchy, but it’s Van Dyke’s moves that will have you watching over and over again. Not only is he good, but he’s goofy — and that is why people love him so.

“The video features Van Dyke trying to get his real-life wife of two years, Arlene Silver, to smile and dance with him while she’s cooking dinner. The video is goofy and perhaps a bit cheesy, but hey, that’s pretty much the persona Van Dyke built his career on with ‘The Dick Van Dyke Show,’ ‘Chitty Chitty Bang Bang’ and ‘Mary Poppins,’ among other things.”

To see Dick Van Dyke dance in this video will certainly brighten your day. The man is a well-loved actor, and always seems to smile no matter what’s going on in his life. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Van Dyke was involved in a dangerous situation when his car burst into flamed on the 101 freeway in Los Angeles back in 2013. Although he needed to be rescued and the situation was quite dangerous, Van Dyke still made jokes about the situation.

“Van Dyke was in a good mood about the crash, joking with a cameraman who came to the scene to report on the crash. ‘Tell ’em I have a nice used car for sale,’ he joked.”
