Is Christina Aguilera Returning To Her Red Spinning Chair On NBC’s ‘The Voice’?

New rumors are swirling about Christina Aguilera’s future on NBC’s The Voice. New reports are claiming that the singer has a serious diva attitude and is hard to work with. Now, producers are desperate to remove Christina Aguilera from the struggling reality show.

Another season on The Voice has ended and rumors are already swirling about Aguilera’s future. There are new reports talking about whether or not the celebrity coaches will return for the next season. Christina Aguilera has reportedly been told not to return by producers.

Ouch!

Sources close the show told Radar Online that Aguilera’s diva attitude has gotten worse. The powerhouse singer has earned her reputation over the years, but producers have now grown tired of it. Aguilera’s behavior has made things difficult for everyone on set, including contestants and her fellow coaches.

It also doesn’t help morale on the set when she’s constantly fighting with fellow coach, Adam Levine. The 34-year-old singer and the Maroon 5 front man apparently don’t get along, according to the insiders.

“No one wants Christina to come back as a judge on season nine of The Voice. She was really difficult to work with this season. Tensions between her and Adam were consistent, but she also just had a really bad attitude. She showed up late a lot, took forever for hair and makeup and was just very demanding.”

So, who would replace Christina Aguilera? They’re not going to replace her with new blood. In fact, producers are considering bringing back Gwen Stefani or Shakira instead of Aguilera herself. According insiders, both Stefani and Shakira are easier to get along with. When it comes to the men, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, and Pharrell Williams still have their jobs, for now.

“Everyone is really hoping that they bring either Gwen Stefani back, or Shakira. They were both a million times easier to work with than Christina ever was. She just thinks that she is the reason the show is still on and that it should revolve around her. Her act is getting old.”

Having two women in the red chairs could also be the shakeup that the struggling show needs. Season 8 of The Voice hit an all-time low in ratings, according to Fashion & Style Magazine. Aguilera previously told Access Hollywood who she would love to see in the red spinning chairs.

“I would love to see two females on the same season in the red chairs. We need more female power because, look what I have to put up with all alone, all by myself.”

Adam Levine had a warning for any female celeb that comes onto the show.

“Any woman that comes into this mess, God bless you. I don’t understand how they do it. We’re really stupid dudes, especially Blake.”

Diva reputation or not, Christina Aguilera needs The Voice and the show needs her. The show could add some more women to its judging panel if it wants to increase its viewership. Aguilera is currently working on a new album and will need to show to aggressively promote it.

The last time the singer made headlines was for not for her music, but whom she was impersonating. In a fun segment on The Voice, Aguilera impersonated Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus, Cher, and other pop acts. That’s all she’s become known for lately. If Aguilera wants a successful career, she’ll have to downplay her attitude. Adam Levine and the rest of the production crew will also have to learn how to get along with Aguilera.
