Tatted Wiz Khalifa Says He’ll ‘Die’ If His Two Year-Old Son Follows His Example

Platinum-selling rapper Wiz Khalifa has built quite the legacy during the course of his career. A doting parent to his two year-old son Sebastian Taylor Thomaz, Khalifa surely wants his little boy to reap the benefits of his various and sundry successes and life lessons. But there’s one thing that the proud papa doesn’t want to share with his progeny and that’s Khalifa’s love of tattoos. The 27 year-old tatted superstar recently told People Magazine that he hopes his son, who he affectionately refers to as “Bash,” does not develop the same affinity for body ink that Wiz enjoys.

“I look at him and how handsome he is, and I would just die if he got tattoos like me,” laughed Khalifa in a conversation with People. “Please do not — just listen to me — do not touch your skin!”

According to Ranker, Wiz Khalifa has at least 18 tattoos, many of which serve to “honor the people in his life that are most important to him.” He even has a tat of the word “Bash” on his forehead as a tribute to his little boy.

As previously reported by Inquisitr, Wiz Khalifa recently rolled out a video for his song “The Play,” which features the proud papa hanging out with Sebastian. Hip hop news outlet Rap-Up cheered the little guy’s appearance, raving that Bash stole the spotlight from his high-profile dad.

Khalifa also told People that raising his son with Sebastian’s mother Amber Rose has given him new appreciation for his own mom’s parenting skills. He’s sticking it out, though, while developing an appreciation for the joys of fatherhood, like teaching his boy manners and tackling the chore of potty training.

In addition to the ever-challenging job of being a dad, Wiz Khalifia is also getting down to business as he prepares for his next album. The Boombox recently reported that Khalifa’s sixth album is tentatively entitled Rolling Papers 2: The Weed Album, an homage to the rapper’s favorite psychoactive substance. Khalifa made the announcement via his personal Twitter page.

He’ll have to juggle a lot in the months ahead, as Khalifa is also embarking on a series of shows with Fall Out Boy dubbed the “Boys of Zummer Tour.” To his credit, Khalifa has reigned in the tumult of his notoriously rocky relationship with Amber Rose, establishing parenthood as foremost priority. Indeed, Wiz Khalifa is determined to lead by example — except when it comes to the matter of that whole tattoo thing.
