Khloe Kardashian Quits PETA In Response To Kim Kardashian’s Flour Bombing

Khloe Kardashian, who once conveyed her strong support for PETA by posing nude for an advertisement, has announced that she will be quitting the organization.

Khloe’s announcement comes after her reality television star sister, Kim Kardashian, was hit with a flour bomb while attending a women’s charity event and in light of new information regarding the alleged suspect’s ties to the PETA organization. Khloe wrote on her blog:

“I just received word that the woman responsible has very close ties to PETA. Not only has PETA lied to the public, but they have proved that they support this kind of behavior. I’ve been a vocal supporter of PETA for a long time but I have also been very vocal about anti-bullying, so this was a huge disappointment for me. As you all know, I don’t condone violence and bullying and what happened last Thursday was just that.”

After the incident in which Kim Kardashian was pelted with flour, PETA pledged to support the woman behind the alleged attack. PETA claims that they are not responsible for the attack, yet they are intent on coming to the suspect’s aid if Kim decides to prosecute the woman.

Kim has no plans at this time to press charges against the suspect, who TMZ reports to be a militant member of PETA who has been with the group for a long period of time. While there are those who believe that they should impose their beliefs on others through acts such as throwing flour, Khloe believes to the contrary that everyone is entitled to their own views. She wrote in her blog:

“I am absolutely disgusted by their behavior. Everyone is entitled to their own beliefs and opinions – I personally don’t wear fur but that doesn’t mean I am going to force my views on anyone else, ESPECIALLY by violating them.”
