“Good Wife” Has No Sympathy for Hillary Clinton, Silda Spitzer

Regardless of what she plays on the television series “The Good Wife”. The star of the show, Julianna Margulies, has little sympathy for scorned political wives. She gives the dish to Fox News.

Margulies told More magazine’s April issue about watching disgraced governor Eliiot Spitzer’s wife Silda Spitzer and openly gay New Jersey New Jersey Governor Jim McGreevey’s wife Dina McGreevey stand humiliated at press conferences as their husbands admitted wrongdoing. Governor Spitzer was caught frequently spending time with $2,000 per hour call girls and McGreevey was caught in a relationship with another man.

“I remember thinking, Get off the stage!” Margulies said, “I couldn’t believe the women were gullible enough to get up there, and I couldn’t believe that the men could be such assh*les as to ask,”

On “The Good Wife” Margulies, who plays a lawyer whose politician husband gets caught up in a sex and corruption scandal, says she has no clue if she would be able to stand by her man in the event that he slept around on her.

Margulies was married to Keith Lieberthal in 2007. She said if he ever strayed,

“I don’t know if I could do it, because I think I’d be playing [the betrayal] in my head the whole time,”

“Maybe the Spitzers and the Clintons already had an arrangement … frankly I don’t care. There are some things where you go, ‘It’s none of your business.'”

There are many American women who share Margulies position that these women should not have stood by their men when they were so humiliated by them. Silda Spitzer and Hillary Clinton are still married to their cheating husbands while Dina McGreevey immediately divorced her husband, who moved in with another man.
