Jennifer Lawrence Lands On International Magazine Covers After ‘Hunger Games’ Debut

Jennifer Lawrence is currently appearing on movie screens all over the country in the new movie, “The Hunger Games.” The young star has also found herself on the cover of several magazines like IO Donna and Interview.

Lawrence, who was nominated for an Oscar for 2010’s “Winter’s Bone,” has been thrust into the spotlight with the success of “The Hunger Games.”

The movie had the largest opening for a non-sequel movie and the third largest opening of all-time. The actress said that she knows that the movie is going to change her life and she’s a little afraid of her new found fame.

The actress told IO Donna:

“Yes, I’m ready, but also terrified. But then how do you feel ready for something you do not know? I … I’m afraid.”

The Huffington Post reports that the March issue of IO Donna is new, but the sexy photos of Jennifer Lawrence are not. The photos were apparently used originally for the cover of Flare Magazine in June 2011.

Interview Germany, however, has a new set of photos of “The Hunger Games” star. Lawrence dons a bejeweled Dolce & Gabbana bodysuit on the cover of Interview which kind of makes the actress look like a Las Vegas showgirl.

“The Hunger Games” pulled in $155 million during its opening weekend at the domestic box office. World wide, the movie brought in another $60 million. So it’s no surprise to see the star popping up on international magazines.

David Spitz, executive vice president of domestic distribution for Lions Gate, said:

“To launch a franchise like this is incredible. It’s above and beyond our expectations. We’re just going to enjoy the ride.”
