Rita Ora Said She Won’t Hook Up With What Artist?

Rita Ora may have had a messy breakup with Calvin Harris, but she’s admitted that she’s ready to move on. Except there’s one man she’s happy to not hookup with, and it’s the same man who collaborated with Rita on a song that is sure to be a hit – Ed Sheeran.

Ora, who recently premiered her latest single, “Poison,” revealed to Noisey that she was working with the guitar-playing ballad-writing Sheeran on a special song.

Ora said, “I did this incredibly beautiful song with Ed about our friendship; he’s one of my best friends.”

And apparently Ora wants to keep it that way.

“It’s amazing having a friend in this industry of the opposite sex that you haven’t hooked up with,” Ora added.

And if he hadn’t been friend-zoned enough by those comments, Ora had more to say.

“He’s such a legend. I respect him in so many ways.”

And according to Ahlan, “Rita Ora says she’ll never date Ed Sheeran.”

While she may never date him, Ora trusts him enough to write with him.

According to MTV, Ora stated, “The selective people that have written with me have seen that I’m writing about controversial things, but they understand that it’s time.”

And part of what she’s written about includes her past relationship with former collaborator and Taylor Swift’s current beau, Calvin Harris. Rita stated that her latest musical efforts will feature “complaining about all [her] s**ty love stories,” but will also show “gratitude and appreciation” for everything she’s been through.

Perhaps it was her past relationship that has Ora a little gun-shy about turning her best friend into another hookup.

Rita accompanied Sheeran while he performed at Rock in Rio, and the two were seen having a good time well into the wee hours of the morning gambling in the casino.

Rita and her new best friend were even photographed together backstage at Sunday’s Billboard Music Awards.

Fans took to Twitter when they heard the news about the upcoming Ora and Sheeran collaboration.

It appears that whether they hook up or not, fans are excited for the release of Ed Sheeran and Rita Ora’s song all about friendship.
