Casey Wilson Baby: Actress Gives Birth To Baby Boy

Casey Wilson is officially a mom!

E! News confirmed the actress gave birth to her first child, a baby boy, with her husband, David Caspe, on Thursday, May 21.

Wilson announced her pregnancy in December, telling People Magazine that she was “really, really excited” about becoming a mom. In January, the former Marry Me and Happy Endings star was thrilled to find out that she and Caspe would be welcoming a baby boy in the spring.

“I thought I wanted a girl, but I almost felt relieved when I found out I was having a boy,” she later told Fit Pregnancy during an interview for their April/May issue. “Having lost my mom, and having had such a close mother-daughter relationship, I felt like somehow, I wasn’t ready for a girl.”

Although Wilson said she was excited about her pregnancy, she did admit that she had a “rocky” start, especially throughout the first trimester.

“I felt tired and sick and in a fog, like an extreme hangover, until about week 16,” she said. “I thought, ‘Surely, this is the worst part of parenting.’ Then I remembered when I was 15 and my mom said I couldn’t go out, I pulled two giant brass wall sconces out of the wall with my bare hands. There are rougher waters ahead, I fear.”

Despite her pregnancy woes, Wilson said she had a great support system, even if Caspe stole her pregnancy pillow every now and then.

“He won’t allow me my comforts,” she joked to People Magazine during a March interview. “I got this big pregnancy pillow and he’s taken both of them for his own back and neck and shoulders.”

She continued, “He’s like, ‘This is the best invention. This pregnancy pillow is everything I’ve ever wanted.’ ”

Wilson previously discussed her plans on having more children. While she said Caspe would love to have “like seven kids,” they “definitely want two.”

“We both come from two-kid families,” Wilson said. “And I can’t imagine going through life without a sibling, especially later in life.”
